I got my first taste of Padel on a family holiday to Spain a couple of years ago. We hired some rackets, had a game and I was hooked! The game was already very popular in Spain but I had never seen it played in the UK. Since then, I have noticed that the game has not only appeared over here, but is growing rapidly! Courts seem to be popping up everywhere. My local golf club has just joined the growing trend of installing one!
When I asked my UK friends if they would like a game, they all had the same questions: What is Padel? How do you play it? What equipment do I need? etc. etc.
This gave me the idea for this site, to raise awareness and give advice and tips for everything to do with Padel. There will be daily articles and blogs discussing everything from rules, equipment comparisons and tactical awareness. Please enjoy the articles and feel free to comment or create discussion. All input and feedback will be welcome whether it be from a seasoned pro, an intermediate player or a total beginner!
